The Good Book, Indeed? August 4, 2008

The Good Book, Indeed?

In case you needed another reason to pick up a Bible.

This seems like just another book…

Wait a minute… what’s inside…?

Hmm… this must be why those people carry their Bibles everywhere…

Now I know what they mean by “holy water.”

Or maybe I’ll just assume the liquid inside the flask is… umm… Gatorade. Yep. That must be it.

I still think the Rock Hammer Bible from The Shawshank Redemption was cooler.

(Thanks to Bill for the link!)

    Love the flask!!

completely OT, but did you see the Teen Choice Awards yet? Apparently the Jonas Brothers conspicuously neglect to thank God in their acceptance speech – particularly odd for a devout Christian band-turned newest Disney franchise. McCain strategist Martin Eisenstadt has an interesting blog deducing that this act of corporate atheism equates the JoBros with Barack Obama. I don’t agree with his politics, but his argument actually makes sense.

“My, but the Reverend is more spirited than usual in his homily this morning.”

  • And now, children, turn to Second Budweiser Chapter 4 Verse 2.

    Brandonazz, ROTFL

  • That’s certainly more helpful than what’s in most Bibles.

I don’t think that even a drunk man would make some of the statements that some fundamentalist Christians are known to make…so whatever is in that flask, it must be stronger than alcohol!

    “Salvation lies within.”

    Oh man I love Shawshank.

😆 I’ve seen this before and find it very curious. However, it would explain why so many Xians are delusional.
