I missed one this morning. Thanks to TXatheist for sending it along to me!
It’s from today’s Houston Chronicle. Here’s the front page of the Religion section:
And on the left side of the page, you see a blue book…
Woo! (Funny coincidence that it’s next to the article on Faith in India.)
It reads:
I Sold My Soul on eBay: Viewing Faith Through an Atheist’s Eyes, by Hemant Mehta (WaterBrook Press, $14). Atheist books are everywhere this year, but Mehta’s is unique. He’s a young atheist whose clear-eyed critique of America’s religious culture is written with remarkable compassion.
It’s similar to David Crumm‘s brief writeup of the book in the Detroit Free Press a couple months ago:
“I Sold My Soul on eBay: Viewing Faith Through an Atheist’s Eyes,” by Hemant Mehta (WaterBrook Press; $13.99). Atheist books are everywhere this year, but Mehta’s is unique. He’s a young atheist whose clear-eyed critique of America’s religious culture is written with remarkable compassion.
Wait a minute…
The Detroit Free Press is owned by Gannett. The Houston Chronicle is owned by Hearst.
Can they copy each other like that? It’s not like this was an Associated Press article or something.
