Linda Harvey: Straight People Never Engage in Oral or Anal Sex

Linda Harvey, the founder of Mission: America, has a history of saying the dumbest possible things you can imagine. She’s said homosexuality is the result of legal abortion, Disney’s first openly gay character should’ve been molested first in order to be more realistic, and that her childhood Ouija board saved her from a homosexual Halloween.

Somehow, her latest statement is even more absurd.

In a piece about the dangers of sex education, Harvey argues that straight people would never engage in oral or anal sex.

… let’s not forget the deadly contribution of “LGBTQ” advocates who demand “inclusive” sex ed — i.e., lessons that outline in detail how kids can engage in anal and oral sex, the sex practices of homosexuals. These lessons often encourage masturbation and pornography use.

Outright molestation isn’t always the outcome of “LGBTQ” propaganda, but mental and moral corruption is.

Still, the latest trend in “comprehensive sexuality education” (CSE) barrels onward with its latest demand — “pleasure” as the new focus of sex education.

Um… does… does anyone want to tell her what straight people do in the bedroom…?

By the way, contrary to what she implies, sex education in schools isn’t about teaching kids how to position themselves during the act. And there’s nothing wrong with saying getting pleasure out of sex is worthwhile. It is. And if you’re not getting pleasure out of it, you shouldn’t feel obligated to have it. The alternative — that you’re not getting joy out of it but feel compelled to participate for someone else — is an awful (if not criminal) thing.

There’s a lot that’s flat-out wrong in the piece, but the ideas that kids are being taught sex is preferable to abstinence, or that schools are telling kids how to have sex (instead of how to protect themselves if they choose to have it), or that online resources are synonymous with what sex educators teach in schools are misleading and dangerous.

You shouldn’t take sex advice from a virgin, and you shouldn’t learn about sex education from someone whose understanding of it is warped and ignorant.
