This has nothing to do with atheism. I’m just amazed by it: Tisha UnArmed shows how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when you have no arms.
It gets *ridiculously* impressive at the 4:00 mark.
Wow!! Makes me feel slightly inadequate!
How did she get to the table from the sink after washing her feet? I would have thought she’d have a pair of clean flip flops or something for getting around the apt, and only wear them when the feet are clean.
I know right? She starts off by saying how long it’ll take and then she makes it pretty much as fast as I do. Either she was lying about how long it takes or my sandwich making skills are pitiful…
I wondered that too. I’m guessing she keeps her floor pretty clean overall. Though I just really don’t know.
So many questions popped up in my head, but I’m afraid to ask for demos. Shoe tying comes to mind.
I’m also glad that I’m not the only one who just says ‘fuck it’ and used dish soap on my hands (in my case) when it is convenient.
If you search youtube, there are some videos by a girl who shows how she dresses herself completely which are pretty amazing. She also drives with her feet. for tying shoes some may use their teeth or an implement they use with their mouth perhaps.
Obviously using shoes that don’t need tying is a simpler solution XP
Amazing demo and amazing young lady. She has raised some questions (others have already started asking them) but what I like is that she is proving that everyone, including her, is just a unique individual that needs to be taken on their own terms. More power to her.
I see something like this, then look in the mirror and ask, “And what is your excuse?”
I was actually kind of curious to see how she eats sandwiches. Does she bother with using her feet, or just face-to-plate?
Whoops, she answers that one, too:
Yes, so many questions. She ate the entire PB&J sandwich *without milk*! (Another thing she can do that I can’t do.) I guess she covers, or will cover soon, drinking from a cup (I’d use a straw).
When I was in primary school in Florida many (many) years ago, I had a teacher that had been teaching many (many) years. She told us a story of a student she had years ago – similar to this young lady, she had no arms. She wrote with her feet – on the desk.
The teacher said her young lady went on to sell vacuum cleaners door to door – “if an armless woman could handle the vacuum cleaner, just think what YOU could do with it with both arms!” was the sales pitch.
I actually would love it if people asked for demos. the more requests the more videos go out
I tie my own shoes. i’ll show you in one of my next videos. thanks for the idea
There was a towel she put onto the floor after washing her feet. I believe she may have shuffled her way on the towel to the table.
I asked a question and made a suggestion/request on YouTube, I assumed you at least wouldn’t mind.
Thanks again, it’s really great to gain some perspective and learn from people, as I did from your video.
Does the ‘five second’ rule apply here?
I wash my hands with dish soap all the time. Should I not be doing that?
She looks like she’s doing some kind of stepping-stone movement, so I guess there are clean things on the floor to stand on.
